About the Role
We're looking for French language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for French-language learning and communication. Your linguistic insight and teaching background will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and responds to French learners — making a real impact on one of the world's most widely spoken languages.

What You'll Do
- Review AI-generated French speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
- Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
- Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps with expert judgment
- Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
- Suggest improvements for natural, idiomatic, and contextually appropriate French
- Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
Who You Are
- Native or near-native fluency in French
- Experience teaching French or evaluating learner language
- Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
- Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR proficiency frameworks
- Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
- Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
- No prior AI experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience in language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
- Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology
- Familiarity with regional French variations (European, Canadian, African, etc.)
- Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
