Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 8, 2026
Your privacy matters. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have — including for cookies, advertising, and analytics.
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how AiTrainerGigs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards your information when you visit aitrainergigs.com (the “Site”) or use its features, and describes the rights you have over your personal information.
By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. This policy should be read together with our Cookie Policy, Terms of Service, and Disclaimer.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide to us
- Account information. If you create an account, authentication is handled by a trusted third-party authentication service. We receive your email address and a securely hashed credential — we never see or store your password in plain text.
- Profile information. If you build a profile, we store what you choose to add: display name, domains and skills, experience level, location, and preferred pay, which we use to match you to relevant work and (optionally) notify you.
- Email subscriptions. If you sign up for job alerts, we store your email address and your subscription preferences using a double opt-in (you must confirm via a link we email you).
- Messages you send. When you use our contact or partnership forms, we store the name, email address, any company name, the topic, and the message you submit.
Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data. Like most websites, we and our providers automatically collect log data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps.
- Cookies and similar technologies. We and third parties use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
- Outbound click tracking. When you click a link to a third-party platform, we record the click for fraud prevention and analytics. Your IP address is stored only as a salted, one-way hash — we do not retain your raw IP with these records.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and its features;
- Create and manage your account and profile, and match you to relevant listings;
- Send job alerts and service emails you have opted in to receive;
- Respond to your enquiries, reports, and partnership requests;
- Monitor usage, prevent fraud and abuse, and secure the Site;
- Serve and measure advertising (see the advertising section below);
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on these legal bases: your consent (e.g. email alerts and non-essential cookies); performance of a contract (providing account features you request); our legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to understand usage), where not overridden by your rights; and legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. Advertising, Google AdSense & Analytics
We use, or may use, Google AdSense to display ads and Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the Site is used. In connection with these services:
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or, in the EU, at youronlinechoices.eu.
- Google Analytics sets cookies to measure usage; you can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. For visitors in the EEA/UK, a consent management tool will be used to obtain consent for non-essential and advertising cookies before personalized ads are served in those regions.
7. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — for example, account and profile data for as long as your account is active, and email-subscription data until you unsubscribe. We may retain certain information where required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit and access controls through our infrastructure providers. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your privacy rights
EEA / UK (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email info@aitrainergigs.com or use our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
10. Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 years of age (or under 16 where a higher age applies). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no common industry standard for DNT, the Site does not currently respond to DNT signals. You can still control advertising and analytics cookies using the opt-outs described above and in our Cookie Policy.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes may be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
