About the Role

We're looking for Italian language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for Italian-language learning and communication. Your linguistic insight and teaching background will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and communicates in Italian — making a meaningful impact on learners around the world.

What You'll Do

• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality
• Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps using expert judgment
• Provide clear, structured feedback that improves AI tutoring and language-learning models
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts
• Contribute to raising the overall quality and reliability of AI language instruction

Who You Are

• Native-level proficiency in Italian
• Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language
• Fluent in English (C1/C2 level)
• Familiar with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks
• Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher
• Strong attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing
• Exposure to AI-powered language tools or educational technology
• Comfortable working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows
