As an Application Security Analyst, you'll work with realistic security scenarios to help frontier AI models learn how to assess, prioritize, and reason about application risk. Your experience spotting exploitable vulnerabilities, evaluating remediation strategies, and thinking like an attacker will directly shape the next generation of AI security reasoning.

This is a remote, flexible contract role. You set your hours and work independently on your own schedule.

What You'll Do

• Review and analyze real-world application security scenarios across code, APIs, and system behavior
• Classify vulnerabilities including authentication flaws, injection risks, access control issues, and business logic weaknesses
• Evaluate secure coding practices and assess the quality of proposed remediation strategies
• Create and validate security-focused datasets that teach AI how to reason accurately about application risk
• Distinguish genuinely exploitable vulnerabilities from theoretical or low-impact findings

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in application security, product security, or software security engineering
• Solid understanding of the OWASP Top 10 and how vulnerabilities manifest in production environments
• Ability to think critically about real exploitability — not just theoretical risk
• Clear, structured written communication skills when describing security reasoning
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with security code review, penetration testing, or bug bounty programs
• Familiarity with secure development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
• Background in evaluating or writing security documentation, threat models, or risk assessments
