This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers and specialists who want high-impact work on their own schedule. No prior AI experience required — just deep domain mastery and an uncompromising eye for physical truth.

What You'll Do

• Design Advanced Physics Problems — Craft PhD qualifying exam-level problems that demand multi-step logical reasoning, rigorous mathematical derivation, and mastery of core physical principles
• Author Gold-Standard Solutions — Write precise, step-by-step "golden responses" that serve as benchmarks for AI evaluation, with flawless units, constants, and logical flow
• Audit AI Reasoning — Evaluate AI-generated solutions and proofs for physical consistency, identifying where models hallucinate physics that violates first principles
• Refine Model Behavior — Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI systems develop physics-informed reasoning — including boundary conditions, conservation laws, and real-world constraints

Who You Are

• PhD completed or in final stages in Applied Physics, Physics, Engineering Physics, or a closely related field
• Deep mastery across the core pillars: Classical Mechanics, Electrodynamics, Statistical Mechanics, and Quantum Mechanics
• Exceptional ability to communicate complex physical phenomena and mathematical derivations in clear, structured written English
• Meticulous attention to detail — units, scientific notation, and logical proof structure are second nature to you
• Self-directed and reliable when working independently
• No prior AI or data annotation experience required

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, scientific dataset evaluation, or quality assurance
• Proficiency with scientific computing tools such as Python (NumPy/SciPy), MATLAB, or COMSOL
• Background in research, academia, or applied engineering environments
• Experience writing technical content, exam problems, or instructional material at the graduate level
