Role overview :
The Text Situated Alignment Specialist – BA role supports a short-term human-AI interaction evaluation pilot designed to assess whether providing social context before a user’s request helps a language model generate more relevant, personalized, and user-aligned advice. Contributors create realistic, ongoing social scenarios, interact with the model under different conditions, and evaluate the quality of its responses.

The role is suitable for professionals experienced in eliciting missing context from people discussing varied everyday problems, such as licensed social workers, counselors, therapists, psychologists, qualitative-researchers, HCI, or communication specialists, professionals from mediation, coaching, student services, organizational consulting, or related advisory work.

Job Responsibilities:

• Interact with the language model under the assigned evaluation conditions.
• Evaluate model responses for relevance, usefulness, personalization, clarity, and alignment with the provided context.
• Explain the reasoning behind each rating through clear and detailed written feedback.
• Follow project guidelines and complete assigned tasks within the required timeline.

Requirements:

• At least 3–5 years of direct practice as either:
  - Licensed social worker
  - Licensed counselor, therapist, or psychologist
  - Qualitative-researcher, HCI, or communication specialist
  - Professional from mediation, coaching, student services, organizational consulting, or related advisory work
•   Candidates should have at least one of the following:
  - MSW with LCSW or equivalent social-work license
  - MA/MS with LMFT, LPC, LCPC, or equivalent counseling license
  - PhD/PsyD in clinical, counseling, social, or industrial-organizational psychology
  - MA/PhD in conflict resolution, communication, HCI, anthropology, sociology, or qualitative research
  - Relevant professional credential plus at least five years of direct advisory or client-facing experience
• Must be based in the USA, Canada or Western Europe

Preferred experience:

• Experience eliciting relevant context when clients initially provide incomplete information
•   Experience working across relationships, work, education, family, planning, wellbeing, and resource constraints, considering biological, psychological, social, spiritual/existential, financial, and practical factors
•  Qualitative coding or structured case review
• Ability to distinguish between context that is load-bearing for the recommendation and that is merely descriptive/non-informative
• Experience reviewing interviews, consultations, coaching sessions, or client interactions to identify missed opportunities for clarification or information
