This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior Python developers who want to do meaningful, intellectually stimulating work on their own schedule. No background in AI research required — just deep, battle-tested Python skills and a sharp eye for quality code.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated Python code for correctness, efficiency, and adherence to PEP 8 and production-level standards
• Develop complex backend algorithmic solutions and data processing scripts specifically designed to challenge AI reasoning
• Write clear, human-readable explanations of backend logic, design decisions, and architectural trade-offs
• Identify edge cases, security vulnerabilities, and failure modes in AI-generated API and backend logic
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 3–5+ years of professional experience writing production-level Python code
• Deep expertise in Python, including modern frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
• Solid grasp of advanced language features, performance considerations, and software design principles
• Strong written communicator — you can explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely
• Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic, methodical approach to code review
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related technical field

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, RLHF, or AI model evaluation systems
• Background in backend architecture, distributed systems, or API design
• Familiarity with security best practices in Python web applications
• Experience writing technical documentation or code explanations for non-specialist audiences
