About the Role

We're looking for PhD-level Biochemists to help train and refine cutting-edge AI models on advanced scientific topics. Your deep expertise will directly shape how AI reasons through complex biochemical problems — from protein folding to metabolic flux — making a real impact on the future of AI in scientific research.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience required.

What You'll Do

• Design Challenging Problems — Create advanced biochemistry problems spanning nucleic acid chemistry, proteomics, enzyme kinetics, and drug-target interactions to rigorously test AI performance
• Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Develop precise, step-by-step technical solutions and benchmark responses that set the standard for high-level scientific reasoning in AI
• Audit AI Outputs — Evaluate AI-generated biochemical pathways, molecular structures, and mathematical proofs for technical accuracy and adherence to scientific standards
• Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical errors such as incorrect stoichiometry or misunderstood stereochemistry, and provide structured feedback to improve the model's scientific thinking
• Work Independently — Complete assignments on your own schedule, asynchronously, with full flexibility over your weekly hours

Who You Are

• PhD (completed or in final stages) in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a closely related field
• Strong foundational knowledge in one or more areas: structural biology, enzymology, cellular metabolism, bioinformatics, or proteomics
• Ability to communicate highly technical biological and chemical concepts clearly in written form
• High attention to detail when reviewing complex chemical equations, molecular diagrams, and experimental protocols
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or review systems
• Familiarity with computational biochemistry tools such as PyMOL, AlphaFold, or BLAST
• Background in scientific writing, peer review, or academic publishing
