We're looking for Biology experts with advanced degrees to help build and evaluate the next generation of AI models, ensuring they reason with the depth, rigor, and accuracy that real science demands.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers, scientists, and domain specialists who want to apply their expertise beyond the lab — on their own schedule, doing intellectually stimulating work that matters.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related disciplines to craft complex, rigorous problem statements
• Evaluate AI-generated scientific reasoning and identify errors, gaps, or oversimplifications
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to sharpen AI model performance
• Ensure scientific accuracy, clarity, and depth across every deliverable you produce
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Hold a Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, etc.)
• Comfortable working with Python or R for research, data analysis, or scripting
• Deep subject-matter expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
• Exceptional written communicator — you can explain complex science with precision and clarity
• Naturally detail-oriented with a rigorous, methodical approach to evaluating scientific content
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data labeling, or content evaluation workflows
• Background in AI, computational biology, or machine learning research
• Experience writing or reviewing scientific literature, grant proposals, or technical documentation
• Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation as an end user
