This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for PhD-level biologists who want to contribute to something genuinely frontier — no AI background required.

What You'll Do

• Design advanced, PhD-level biology questions to rigorously test AI reasoning and scientific understanding
• Develop detailed, step-by-step solutions grounded in scientific logic and best practices
• Evaluate AI-generated outputs for factual accuracy, depth of reasoning, and overall quality
• Collaborate with research teams to build and refine benchmarks across undergraduate through doctoral-level biology topics
• Cover a broad range of domains — from molecular biology and genetics to biochemistry, cell biology, ecology, and beyond
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Pursuing or holding a PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
• Strong scientific reasoning skills with the ability to tackle complex, multi-step biological problems
• Able to communicate advanced concepts clearly and precisely in writing
• Detail-oriented and consistent — you hold your work to a high standard
• Comfortable providing structured, critical feedback on scientific content
• No prior AI or machine learning experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in data annotation, data quality evaluation, or benchmark development
• Background in research, academic publishing, or science communication
• Familiarity with AI tools or language model evaluation as an end user
• Expertise spanning multiple subfields of biology or interdisciplinary life sciences
