About the Role

We're looking for expert biologists to tackle advanced, real-world problems that help the world's leading AI systems reason more accurately across the life sciences.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working scientists and researchers. No AI background needed — just deep domain expertise and the ability to think rigorously.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced biology problems with genuine scientific depth and real-world relevance
• Apply your expertise in genetics, biotechnology, bioinformatics, or related fields to design complex, high-quality problem statements
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to strengthen AI model reasoning in the life sciences
• Ensure scientific rigor, precision, and clarity across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Master's or PhD in Biology or a closely related field (Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, etc.)
• Deep expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
• Comfortable coding in Python or R for research or data analysis
• Exceptional written communicator — you can translate complex science into clear, precise language
• Fluent in English with strong attention to scientific detail
• Based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or quality review workflows
• Background in research publishing, peer review, or academic instruction
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation as an end user
• Experience designing problem sets, exams, or structured assessments in biology
