About the Role

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working scientists, postdocs, and researchers who want to apply their deep expertise in a high-impact, intellectually stimulating way — on their own schedule.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and review advanced biology problems with real-world scientific relevance
• Apply your expertise in genetics, molecular biology, biotechnology, or bioinformatics to design challenging, nuanced problem sets
• Evaluate AI-generated biological reasoning for scientific accuracy, depth, and rigor
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to improve how AI models handle complex life science reasoning
• Ensure clarity, scientific integrity, and precision across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Hold a Master's or PhD in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a closely related field
• Deep expertise in at least one of: genetics, biotechnology, or bioinformatics
• Comfortable coding in Python or R — whether from research, coursework, or personal projects
• Exceptional written communicator with a sharp eye for scientific accuracy and detail
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Experience in data annotation, data quality assessment, or scientific evaluation workflows
• Background in computational biology, systems biology, or related quantitative disciplines
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model evaluation as an end user
• Publication record or hands-on lab/research experience in a specialist area
