What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced environmental science problems with real-world relevance
• Apply your expertise in climate modeling, ecology, sustainability, or related disciplines to design complex, scientifically grounded problem statements
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts to enhance AI model reasoning and accuracy
• Ensure scientific rigor, clarity, and depth across all deliverables
• Work independently on task-based assignments at a pace that suits your schedule

Who You Are

• Holds a Master's or PhD in Environmental Science, Climate Science, Ecology, or a closely related field
• Experienced with Python or R for research or data analysis
• Deep expertise in at least one of: climate modeling, ecology, sustainability science, or environmental data analysis
• Exceptional written communicator with strong attention to scientific accuracy and detail
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
• Fluent in English

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
• Background in publishing peer-reviewed research or technical scientific writing
• Familiarity with AI tools or large language model outputs as an end user
• Experience communicating complex scientific concepts to interdisciplinary audiences
