About this role

About Turing
Turing is one of the world’s fastest-growing AI companies, accelerating the advancement and deployment of powerful AI systems.

Turing helps customers in two ways: Working with the world’s leading AI labs to advance frontier model capabilities in thinking, reasoning, coding, agentic behavior, multimodality, multilinguality, STEM, and frontier knowledge; and leveraging that work to build real-world AI systems that solve mission-critical priorities for companies.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in B2B Commercial / Go-to-Market (GTM) operations to design, evaluate, and calibrate high-fidelity domain tasks, realistic sales and retention scenarios, and benchmark evaluation rubrics.

This unified role covers practitioners across two key GTM functions: B2B Account Execution and Customer Success Management. Candidates will be placed into an Expert Contributor (mid-level) or Senior Specialist / Reviewer (senior-level) track based on overall commercial experience, deal complexity, and prior background with quality calibration or peer review.

Requirements

  • Experience: 3–12+ years of direct, hands-on experience in B2B enterprise sales, account management, or customer success within SaaS, technology, or professional services environments.

  • Methodological Mastery: Deep practical knowledge of industry-standard GTM frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC, Challenger, SPICED, Gainsight/Totango health methodologies).

  • Track Record: Demonstrated history of quota attainment, pipeline ownership, enterprise renewal management, or account expansion.

  • Analytical & Critical Thinking: Sharp ability to identify flaws in commercial logic, weak objection handling, unrealistic sales pipelines, or poorly structured customer intervention plans.

  • Communication: Exceptional written communication and documentation skills, with the ability to articulate clear deal rationales, feedback notes, and objective rubric scoring.

Responsibilities

  • Benchmark Task Authoring: Design realistic, high-complexity B2B sales and retention exercises—including discovery call simulations, enterprise qualification frameworks, RFP responses, renewal negotiations, account health diagnostics, and customer escalations—complete with gold-standard solution sets.

  • Rubric Adherence & Scoring: Apply evaluation criteria defined by the Functional SME Lead to assess commercial deliverables, evaluating qualification rigor, objection handling, commercial framing, and executive alignment.

  • Review & Quality Calibration (Senior Level): Audit, review, and calibrate submissions from pod members to maintain high technical and commercial accuracy, clarify edge-case commercial scenarios, and escalate rubric ambiguities with actionable recommendations.

  • Iterative Refinement: Incorporate structured calibration feedback and peer critiques across sprint cycles to continuously elevate benchmark solution quality.

  • Education & Experience

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in any field.
    • Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, quality assurance, or a related analytical role is preferred but not required.
    • Offer Details:

      • Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and upto 40 hours per week with 4 hours of overlap with PST.
      • Engagement type: Contractor
      • Engagement Length:  12 weeks

      Evaluation Process -

      • Applicants needs to submit Job Interest Form & complete the assessment.
      • Final selected candidates will be contacted with the next steps and onboarding requirements.
