micro1 is engaging Corporate Attorneys to contribute their legal expertise to a dynamic customer project. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.


Scope of Work

  1. Analyze, review, and annotate legal documents across corporate, litigation, bankruptcy, and compliance domains to support AI model development.
  2. Draft realistic legal scenarios, research memos, and hypothetical case studies to enhance model understanding of complex legal concepts.
  3. Evaluate AI-generated legal content for accuracy, clarity, and compliance with US law, providing actionable feedback and corrections.
  4. Contribute to the development of guidelines and quality standards for legal data used in AI training initiatives.
  5. Participate in collaborative discussions to identify emerging legal trends and risk areas relevant to AI applications.
  6. Translate intricate legal principles into clear, structured formats suitable for computational use.
  7. Deliver high-quality written and verbal communication addressing technical legal matters to multidisciplinary teams.


Preferred Qualifications

  1. JD degree from an accredited US law school.
  2. Active license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction.
  3. 3-15 years of substantive experience in litigation, corporate law, bankruptcy, or compliance.
  4. US-based independent practitioner with demonstrated expertise in complex legal matters.
  5. Experience as a judicial clerk, offering unique legal reasoning and analytical skills (preferred).
  6. Prior experience teaching law students or legal professionals, with strong instructional abilities (preferred).
  7. Editorial experience on a legal journal during law school is highly valued.
