Your literary sensibility will help AI systems move beyond generic, flat output and toward writing that actually resonates. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to passionate readers and writers of all backgrounds. No publishing credits or formal credentials required — just a sharp eye for quality prose.

What You'll Do
- Read and evaluate AI-generated creative writing across genres — fiction, poetry, personal essays, satire, and more
- Assess writing quality across dimensions like style, voice, coherence, tone, pacing, and originality
- Identify weaknesses such as clichés, awkward phrasing, inconsistent tone, or implausible plot logic
- Provide structured, detailed written feedback using provided evaluation tools
- Rate AI outputs using clear rubrics and written commentary
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- A genuine lover of reading and writing — you notice when something is working and when it isn't
- Able to articulate why a piece of writing succeeds or falls flat
- Strong command of English language, grammar, and stylistic nuance
- Comfortable reading and evaluating large volumes of text consistently
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to quality assessment
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior AI experience or publishing credits required
Nice to Have
- Background in creative writing, literature, journalism, or editing
- Experience workshopping or critiquing writing in academic or professional settings
- Familiarity with multiple literary genres and their conventions
- Exposure to AI writing tools as a reader or user
