About the Role

What if your C++ expertise could directly shape the infrastructure powering the world's most advanced AI systems? We're looking for a Senior C++ Full-Stack Engineer to design and build high-performance data pipelines, annotation tooling, and evaluation infrastructure used by leading AI research labs.

This is a fully remote contract role with flexible hours. You'll work on real production systems — not toy projects — and your contributions will have a direct, measurable impact on how next-generation AI models are built and evaluated.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and optimize high-performance C++ systems that power AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows
• Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for large-scale data annotation, validation, and quality control
• Improve reliability, performance, and correctness across production C++ codebases
• Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to support model training and evaluation at scale
• Identify bottlenecks and edge cases in system behavior and implement scalable, robust solutions
• Participate in synchronous design and code reviews to iterate quickly on architecture and implementation

Who You Are

• Native or fluent English speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Full-stack developer with a deep systems programming background
• 3–5+ years of professional experience writing production-grade C++
• Expert-level understanding of efficient binary serialization formats
• Experienced with zero-copy data exchange protocols for high-speed data pipelines
• Able to commit 20–40 hours per week with consistency and reliability

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality, or model evaluation systems
• Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, model training pipelines, or benchmarking infrastructure
• Experience building or maintaining distributed systems or developer tooling
