Opportunity Overview

Handshake AI is looking for people to record short first-person videos of everyday household tasks, like cooking, cleaning and laundry, to help researchers teach AI systems how people do real-world chores. No technical experience or special skills are needed. If you do chores at home, you can do this.

What You’ll Do

• Wear a phone on a head mount and record yourself doing normal household tasks
• Upload your recordings through a simple mobile app
• Follow short guidelines on which tasks to film and how to frame them
• Work remotely and complete tasks on your own schedule, with no minimum hour requirement

Project details

• Pay: up to $15 per accepted hour of video, depending on the task category
• You'll need:

  • A smartphone that can record and upload video

  • A head mount, reimbursed up to $10
• No prior experience needed

Required for all applicants

• Must have US work authorization
• Ability to follow written guidelines and film tasks as instructed
• Attention to detail, so recording meet the quality standards for acceptance
• Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
