This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a sharp eye for visual detail and a genuine interest in how scenes are crafted. No professional film experience or formal training required.

What You'll Do

• Watch short film or video clips and break them down into structured, beat-by-beat visual descriptions
• Describe camera movement, framing, blocking, pacing, and compositional choices with precision
• Capture mood, tone, and emotional subtext using purely visual indicators — no dialogue references
• Follow standardized formatting guidelines to produce consistent, high-quality scene summaries
• Re-watch clips as needed to ensure accuracy and depth of description
• Maintain quality and consistency across a high volume of scene analyses

Who You Are

• Genuinely interested in film, television, visual storytelling, or cinematography
• Able to describe what you see on screen with clarity, structure, and specificity
• Skilled at communicating atmosphere and emotion through visual observation alone
• Detail-oriented and comfortable following formatting guidelines consistently
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently on task-based assignments
• No professional film industry experience required — passion and a strong eye are what matter

Nice to Have

• Background in film studies, media, photography, or visual arts
• Experience writing about film — reviews, analysis, scripts, or production notes
• Familiarity with cinematography terms such as shot types, framing, and camera movement
• Experience with screenwriting or storyboarding
