About the Role

We're looking for postdoctoral researchers and advanced degree holders to help train and challenge cutting-edge AI models — designing complex problems, evaluating reasoning, and pushing AI to its limits across technical and scientific domains.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for researchers who want to put their expertise to meaningful use on their own schedule. No prior AI experience required — just a sharp, rigorous mind and a high standard for intellectual quality.

What You'll Do

• Design and solve advanced, multi-disciplinary problems that challenge and improve AI reasoning capabilities
• Apply your domain expertise to evaluate AI outputs for accuracy, depth, and academic rigor
• Craft complex problem statements with real-world relevance across STEM and technical fields
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to improve model performance
• Review and refine AI-generated content to ensure clarity, correctness, and intellectual integrity
• Complete task-based assignments independently — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Holder of a Master's or PhD in a STEM or highly technical field from a top university
• Strong track record in research, peer-reviewed publications, or complex project work
• Exceptional written communicator who can convey complex ideas with clarity and precision
• Detail-oriented and rigorous — you hold your work to the highest academic standards
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision
• Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, U.K., Australia, or New Zealand

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
• Familiarity with AI tools, language models, or machine learning workflows
• Background spanning multiple technical disciplines or sub-fields
