Health Policy & Management — AI Data Trainer

About the Role

Your public health expertise is more valuable than ever — and not just in traditional settings. We're looking for Masters-level public health professionals to help train the next generation of AI models to reason accurately about population health, health policy, epidemiology, and global health equity.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role where your domain knowledge directly shapes how AI understands and communicates evidence-based health information. No AI experience required — just deep public health expertise and a sharp analytical mind.

What You'll Do

• Design complex public health scenarios — from disease outbreak simulations and health equity assessments to statistical interpretation of clinical trials and policy impact analyses
• Author rigorous ground-truth responses that synthesize peer-reviewed research, epidemiological data, and current guidelines (CDC, WHO, and equivalent standards)
• Audit AI-generated health content for accuracy, bias, logical gaps, and adherence to ethical standards — identifying misinformation before it spreads
• Refine AI reasoning by providing structured feedback that helps models distinguish correlation from causation, communicate risk accurately, and serve diverse populations equitably

Who You Are

• Hold a Masters in Public Health (MPH), MSPH, or closely related graduate degree
• Have strong foundational knowledge in at least two of: Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health, or Health Policy
• Can translate complex health data into clear, culturally sensitive, actionable written content
• Apply a high level of precision when evaluating statistical significance, data citations, and the logic of health interventions
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, quality evaluation, or research coordination
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as R, SAS, or Stata
• Background in health communication, clinical research, or public health surveillance
