About the Role

We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to help build and evaluate AI systems that must reason about clinical data, compliance frameworks, and hospital operations — accurately and responsibly.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You'll bring your real-world experience in health data governance to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models being developed by leading research labs.

What You'll Do

• Apply your clinical and operational data governance expertise to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, compliance alignment, and real-world applicability
• Define and assess governance frameworks, data quality standards, and policy workflows as they relate to AI training scenarios
• Review and provide structured feedback on AI responses covering HIPAA compliance, data integrity, interoperability, and healthcare data management
• Identify gaps, errors, and risks in AI-generated content related to hospital data systems and clinical decision support
• Work across simulated clinical, IT, and compliance scenarios to ensure AI reasoning reflects genuine healthcare expertise
• Complete task-based assignments independently and asynchronously — on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced in healthcare data governance, clinical data operations, or health information management
• Strong working knowledge of healthcare privacy and regulatory frameworks — HIPAA, HL7, FHIR, or similar
• Skilled at bridging clinical, technical, and administrative perspectives
• Naturally detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating complex information
• Clear and structured written communicator who can articulate reasoning precisely
• Comfortable working independently without close supervision

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
• Background in EHR systems, clinical informatics, or health IT platforms
• Experience in regulatory auditing, data stewardship, or compliance program management
• Familiarity with AI tools or machine learning concepts as an informed end user
