Your hands-on experience in SOC and threat investigation is exactly what's needed to evaluate, challenge, and improve AI systems designed to analyze security events, correlate alerts, and support digital investigations. What You'll Do

• Analyze realistic security events, alert queues, and incident cases to assess AI-generated responses
• Evaluate AI outputs for accuracy in determining impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation
• Review detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks for real-world validity
• Identify gaps where AI analysis doesn't reflect how actual response teams operate
• Provide structured feedback that directly shapes how AI handles future security incidents
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

• 2+ years of experience in SOC operations, incident response, or security engineering
• Proficient with SIEM platforms, alert triage workflows, and investigation tooling
• Strong ability to distinguish meaningful threats from noise in complex alert environments
• Methodical thinker who can clearly articulate why an AI's analysis is — or isn't — correct
• Comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST IR
• Background working across cloud, endpoint, or network security environments
• Experience writing or tuning detection rules and playbooks
