About the Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build the next generation of security intelligence tools. As an Incident Response Analyst, you'll bring your real-world SOC experience to help train and evaluate AI systems designed to detect threats, correlate alerts, and support digital investigations.

Your expertise is the signal. You'll work with realistic incident data to ensure AI-driven analysis actually reflects how skilled response teams think and operate — not just textbook theory.

What You'll Do

• Analyze security events, alerts, and incident cases drawn from realistic environments
• Determine impact, root cause, and appropriate remediation paths
• Evaluate detection rules, alerting pipelines, and investigative playbooks for quality and accuracy
• Review AI-generated incident analysis and flag gaps where it diverges from real-world SOC practice
• Provide structured, expert feedback that directly improves how AI models handle security investigations
• Work independently and asynchronously on a schedule that fits your life

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in SOC operations, incident response, or security engineering
• Proficient with SIEM platforms, alert queues, and investigation tooling
• Strong signal-to-noise instincts — you know how to separate genuine threats from background noise
• Clear and structured communicator who can articulate analytical reasoning in writing
• Self-directed and reliable when working remotely on task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with threat hunting, digital forensics, or detection engineering
• Familiarity with frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST incident response guidelines
• Background in cloud security, endpoint detection, or network forensics
• Prior experience contributing to AI or data annotation projects
