We're looking for Masters and PhD-level researchers to tackle complex, multi-disciplinary challenges that train cutting-edge AI systems built by the world's leading research labs.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for serious researchers who want to put their expertise to work on problems that matter — without leaving academia behind.

What You'll Do

• Develop, solve, and critically review advanced, real-world problems spanning multiple academic and professional domains
• Apply your research expertise to design complex problem statements that genuinely challenge and improve AI reasoning capabilities
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and domain experts to measurably enhance model performance
• Uphold academic rigor, depth, and precision across every deliverable you produce
• Help define the frontier of what AI can understand and reason through — across science, engineering, mathematics, and beyond

Who You Are

• Masters or PhD holder in a STEM or highly technical field from a leading university
• Strong track record of research, publications, or managing complex technical projects
• Exceptionally clear written and verbal communicator with sharp attention to detail
• Self-directed and reliable — you produce high-quality work independently without hand-holding
• Fluent in English and based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, U.K., or Australia

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI evaluation systems
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other research-oriented programming languages
• Interdisciplinary research background spanning multiple technical domains
• Experience designing or reviewing standardized assessments, benchmarks, or technical curricula
