Paid English Conversation Recording: Native US English Speakers (Remote)

We are building a pool of reliable participants for an ongoing, paid voice recording project involving natural English conversations. You will be matched with another participant for guided, role-based conversations about everyday situations.

This is not a scripted reading task. Before each conversation, you receive a short brief describing your role, the situation and your goals. Some details may be visible only to you. You then speak naturally, respond in real time and work through the situation in your own words. No acting or voice-over experience is required.

Your participation will include:

• Paid screener sessions, where you record short conversations with a partner, paid for each recording that passes review
• If you pass the screeners, you’ll join our ongoing recording program
• Recording on an online platform from a quiet, private room, using wired headphones
• Paired sessions scheduled in advance

You must:

• Be 18 years or older
• Be a native speaker of US English
• Be comfortable having your voice recorded
• Use a laptop or desktop computer for all sessions (phones and tablets can’t be used)
• Use wired headphones during sessions
• Have a stable internet connection
• Record from a quiet, private indoor room where you can stay uninterrupted for about 45 minutes
• Be able to attend scheduled sessions with another participant

Phones and tablets cannot be used for recording.
