About this role
Quantitative Analyst (Quant) — AI Training
About the Role
What if your expertise in quantitative modeling, statistical inference, and data analysis could directly shape how AI reasons about numbers, risk, and forecasting? We're looking for Quantitative Analysts to evaluate and improve AI-generated models — stress-testing assumptions, identifying anomalies, and helping ensure that AI-driven quantitative frameworks are mathematically sound and practically reliable.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for professionals with a strong background in quant finance, applied mathematics, statistics, or data science. If you live and breathe model behavior, this is your opportunity to put that expertise to work on cutting-edge AI.
- Type: Hourly Contract
- Location: Remote
- Commitment: Flexible — work on your own schedule
What You'll Do
- Analyze quantitative model inputs, underlying assumptions, and statistical validity
- Evaluate predictive model performance and surface unexpected or anomalous behaviors
- Validate data pipelines, feature sets, and transformation logic for accuracy and consistency
- Summarize complex quantitative findings in clear, structured, and actionable formats
- Identify areas requiring recalibration, refinement, or deeper investigation
- Support recurring evaluations of quantitative frameworks and simulation outputs
- Translate nuanced model behavior into clear explanations that non-specialists can understand
Who You Are
Must-Have:
- Background in quantitative finance, statistics, applied mathematics, or data science
- Strong working knowledge of modeling techniques and statistical inference
- Ability to interpret complex model behavior and communicate findings clearly and precisely
- Naturally detail-oriented with a rigorous, systematic approach to analysis
- Comfortable working independently on structured, task-based assignments
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with Python, R, or quantitative modeling libraries
- Prior exposure to risk modeling, financial forecasting, or simulation frameworks
- Background in academic research or professional quant roles
Why Join Us
- Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
- Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
- Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
- Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI understands and applies quantitative reasoning
- Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
A legitimate, well-funded platform (built by Labelbox) with strong rates for experts. The real catch is availability — per-approved-task pay and quiet stretches between projects.
