About the Role
We are seeking Fluent English speakers with slight accents only to take part in simulated customer service conversations for an AI data project. As a Customer Caller, you will join semi-scripted calls with a Customer Service Agent on an online recording platform: asking questions, making requests and following an assigned caller profile, sometimes with a set emotion. About 10 hours per week, roughly 250 openings. Remote, independent contractor. Hours are estimates and not guaranteed. Participants may not be based in: China, South Korea, EU, UK, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Switzerland, Kenya, Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Nor the following US States: Illinois, Tennessee, California, New York, Washington, Montana, Texas, Colorado. Applying includes a 60-second on-camera script read. Approved applicants join an onboarding bootcamp before role placement. Must have a quiet place to perform. Must have a strong internet connection and clear high-volume headset or microphone.
Requirements
- Excellent spoken English and natural conversational fluency
- Able to follow detailed instructions and stay consistent with an assigned profile
- Comfortable being recorded and with occasional light acting or emotion-based delivery
- A computer, reliable internet, a headset or USB microphone, and a quiet place to record
- Reliable and able to meet the agreed schedule
Responsibilities
- Take part in simulated customer service calls with assigned agents
- Follow semi-scripted scenarios and stay consistent with your caller profile
- Ask questions, make requests and share information as directed
- Record on the designated platform using the required audio settings
- Adjust tone and emotional delivery when a scenario asks for it
