What You'll Do
- Research topics across a wide range of subjects — from science and history to culture, technology, and current events
- Verify AI-generated claims, facts, and information against reliable, authoritative sources
- Cross-reference AI outputs to identify inaccuracies, outdated data, or unsupported statements
- Document findings clearly and flag errors using structured evaluation formats
- Rate the accuracy and reliability of AI-generated content using provided rubrics
- Work independently on task-based assignments at your own pace and schedule
Who You Are
- Strong research skills with the ability to locate and evaluate trustworthy sources
- Naturally curious and skeptical — you don't accept claims at face value
- Detail-oriented and systematic in your approach to verifying information
- Clear and concise written communicator
- Self-motivated and reliable when working independently
- No prior AI, journalism, or fact-checking experience required
Nice to Have
- Background in research, academia, journalism, library science, or communications
- Experience with source verification, data analysis, or investigative work
- Broad general knowledge across multiple subject areas
- Familiarity with AI tools or content platforms as an end user
