micro1 is engaging Robot Whisperers — Skills & Data to contribute to a customer's project focused on teaching the next generation of robots real-world dexterity. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

1. Execute precise, repetitive manipulation tasks (e.g., picking up objects, opening containers, performing simple household actions) using handheld devices, following detailed protocols.
2. Follow step-by-step task instructions exactly, ensuring full consistency and accuracy with each repetition.
3. Reset and prepare the testing environment between task attempts to maintain data integrity across sessions.
4. Review and confirm each data recording for completeness and clarity before proceeding.
5. Identify and promptly flag hardware issues, recording anomalies, or unclear instructions to the project lead for resolution.
6. Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout each project phase, ensuring high-quality data collection under repetitive conditions.
7. Communicate findings and updates clearly in both written and verbal form as required for project documentation and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Exceptional fine motor skills and manual dexterity in hands-on settings.
2. Demonstrated ability to follow complex, detailed instructions with high reliability and consistency.
3. Strong attention to detail, especially when performing repetitive assignments.
4. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
5. Experience with technical, gig, warehouse/operations, gaming, or other hands-on backgrounds—recent graduates are encouraged to express interest.
6. Proven dependability and resilience in high-repetition, task-focused environments.
7. Curiosity about robotics, AI, or human-technology interaction (no formal background required).
