What You'll Do
- Review and validate epidemiological models, checking assumptions and methodological integrity
- Interpret population-level health data to identify and explain trend drivers
- Assess study designs for bias, confounding, misclassification, and causal inference issues
- Summarize findings in structured, scientifically rigorous formats
- Evaluate relationships between interventions, risk factors, and health outcomes
- Support recurring reviews of public-health surveillance data and reports
Who You Are
Must-Have:
- Strong background in epidemiology, public health, or biostatistics
- Deep familiarity with study design, statistical inference, and causal reasoning
- Proven ability to analyze large, complex health datasets with precision
- Comfortable working independently and delivering high-quality output on a flexible schedule
- Clear, concise scientific communicator — written and structured
Nice to Have:
- Experience in infectious disease modeling or clinical epidemiology
- Familiarity with surveillance systems or public health reporting frameworks
- Background in policy-relevant research or applied epidemiology
