Software Engineer – Frontend (AI Training Contract)

About the Role

We're looking for experienced frontend developers to help evaluate and improve AI systems that generate code. Your expertise will directly shape how AI understands, writes, and explains frontend code — making a measurable impact on the next generation of AI models used by top research labs and Fortune 500 companies.

This is a fully remote, asynchronous contract role. Work on your own schedule, from anywhere.

What You'll Do

• Review and evaluate AI-generated frontend code (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) for correctness, efficiency, accessibility, and clarity
• Write high-quality frontend solutions to UI and web development problems across varying difficulty levels
• Craft clear, well-reasoned explanations for design decisions, code logic, and problem-solving approaches
• Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and errors in AI-generated code and problem statements
• Provide structured, actionable feedback that helps improve model performance

Who You Are

• Strong command of JavaScript — including async/await, closures, DOM manipulation, ES6+ syntax, and browser APIs
• Experienced with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Able to clearly explain technical concepts in writing — strong English communication skills are essential
• Detail-oriented with a high bar for code quality and correctness
• Self-directed and comfortable working independently in an async environment

Nice to Have

• 3–5+ years of professional frontend development experience
• Background in web performance optimization, state management, or accessibility
• Familiarity with data labeling, RLHF, or AI training workflows
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
