Stanford Youth Study — Register Interest (US Parents & Kids, Age 9–13)
About this role
Mercor is gathering a list of interested parents for the Youth Well-being Project, an upcoming research study led by Stanford University in collaboration with Bocconi University, focused on how smartphones and digital tools affect children and families.
Please note: this is not an active project yet. We're collecting expressions of interest now so we can reach out when the study opens — expected within the next ~3 months. Applying simply registers your interest — there's no commitment and nothing to do right now. We'll email you when the study is ready.
We're looking for parents in the United States who have a child aged 9–13 with their own smartphone. You can pick one child to take part with you.
If the study is a fit, you'd later be asked to
- Complete a few short online surveys (about 1 hour total) plus a few text-message check-ins
- Install a parental-control app on your child's phone for the duration of the study
- Your child completes two short online surveys and a few text-message check-ins
To register interest
- Based in the United States
- Parent/guardian of a child aged 9–13 who has their own smartphone
- Open to taking part together with your child when the study launches
Good to know
- Status: Registering interest only — not yet active
- Expected start: Within the next ~3 months
- Format: Remote — online surveys + short text-message check-ins
- Time commitment: About 1 hour of surveys overall
- Compensation: A flat fee paid once on completion (confirmed when the study opens)
- No action needed until we reach out — we'll keep you posted
Why register
- Be first in line when this Stanford + Bocconi study opens
- Contribute to research on children's well-being in the digital age
- Flexible, remote participation
The strongest pipeline for credentialed experts. Contracts are clear, and workers report payouts landing on schedule.
