About the Role:

Are you looking for an easy way to get started in the world of Artificial Intelligence? At TELUS Digital, we are looking for an AI Linguistic Expert to join our global community. You don’t need a technical degree or previous experience in AI to succeed here. Your job is to help AI "see" and "understand" the world by labeling images, text, and videos. You are the teacher providing the basic lessons that make AI smart.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and review AI-generated text for linguistic quality, accuracy, and naturalness.
• Assess grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and overall language fluency.
• Identify linguistic errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and cultural nuances.
• Ensure content is appropriate for native speakers and reflects regional language variations where required.
• Create, edit, rewrite, or validate prompts, responses, and other language-based content.
• Provide detailed feedback to improve AI model performance and language quality.
• Verify translations, localizations, and multilingual content for accuracy and contextual relevance.
• Apply project-specific linguistic guidelines and quality standards consistently.
• Perform quality assurance (QA) reviews and document findings accurately.

Mandatory Qualifications:

• Education: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in any field with annotation experience.
• Native Language: Native-level proficiency in Filipino/Tagalog. You need to understand the natural way people speak and write in the Philippines.
• English Proficiency: Basic (B1) English so you can follow the project instructions on our platform.
• Reliability: You are someone who can follow simple instructions carefully and deliver work on time.

How to qualify

Assessment:

In order to be hired into our community, you’ll go through a subject-specific qualification exam that will determine your suitability for the position and complete ID verification.

Payment:

Currently, pay rates for experts range from $5.50 - $7.00 USD per hour
