We're looking for visually literate film and video enthusiasts to help train the next generation of AI systems to understand the language of cinema. As a Video Shot Annotation Artist at Alignerr, you'll analyze video at the shot level — describing camera angles, movement, framing, and mood in structured, precise language that teaches AI how a scene really works.

What You'll Do

• Break videos into individual shots and confirm shot boundaries
• Annotate each shot for camera angle, shot size, and camera movement
• Describe on-screen action in clear, concise, structured language
• Apply stylistic tags for lighting, visual tone, and genre feel where relevant
• Follow predefined taxonomies and labeling sets to ensure consistency
• Flag ambiguous shots or unclear transitions for review
• Maintain speed and accuracy across high-volume annotation workflows

Who You Are

Must-Have:

• Strong visual literacy — you notice the details others miss
• Solid understanding of film grammar: shot types, angles, and camera movements
• Comfortable working in labeling tools, spreadsheets, or structured interfaces
• High attention to detail and ability to stay consistent across repetitive tasks

Nice to Have:

• Background in video editing, assistant editing, or post-production
• Prior experience with data annotation or dataset labeling
• Formal or self-directed study in film, cinematography, or media production
