About the Role
What if your voice could directly shape how AI understands the way Australians actually speak? We're looking for professional voice actors and voice-over artists with authentic Australian accents to participate in paid studio recording sessions for a leading AI speech research project.
This is a contract role for experienced voice talent based in Australia. Your recordings will help AI systems better understand natural, human Australian English — the real thing, not a caricature.

What You'll Do
- Record natural, conversational Australian English speech in a professional studio environment
- Participate in single-speaker sessions and dual-speaker dialogue conversations
- Deliver realistic, natural-sounding speech that feels unscripted and human
- Follow light direction to vary tone, pacing, and delivery across different scenarios
- Bring your professional voice talent to help make AI sound more authentically human
Who You Are
- A professional voice actor or voice-over artist with genuine experience
- A native or near-native Australian English speaker with an authentic accent
- Currently based in Australia
- Comfortable recording natural, conversational dialogue — not just polished reads
- Reliable, professional, and receptive to direction in a studio setting
- Fluent in English at a working communication level
Nice to Have
- Acting or performance background
- Experience in broadcast, podcasting, or prior professional studio recording
- Comfort with both scripted and improvised conversational delivery
