Vulnerability Management Analyst (AI Training)

About the Role

We're partnering with the world's leading AI research labs to build smarter, more capable AI systems — and we need security practitioners who know what vulnerability management looks like in the real world.

This isn't a theoretical exercise. You'll work with realistic scenarios drawn from actual security operations: CVEs, scanner outputs, patching decisions, risk prioritization, and remediation tradeoffs. Your expertise will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about cybersecurity risk.

What You'll Do

• Analyze vulnerability reports, CVEs, and exposure scenarios across infrastructure and application environments
• Classify severity, exploitability, business impact, and appropriate remediation strategies
• Evaluate patching, mitigation, and risk-acceptance decisions in realistic operational contexts
• Generate, label, and validate security-reasoning data used to train and benchmark AI systems
• Apply your real-world judgment to help AI distinguish theoretical risk from what actually matters in production

Who You Are

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management, security operations, or infrastructure security
• Familiar with CVEs, vulnerability scanners, patching workflows, and risk prioritization frameworks (CVSS, EPSS, or similar)
• Comfortable reasoning about the gap between textbook risk and operational reality
• Clear, structured, and analytical thinker who can communicate security concepts in writing
• Self-motivated and able to work independently on asynchronous, task-based assignments

Nice to Have

• Experience with exposure management platforms (Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar)
• Background in cloud infrastructure security or application vulnerability assessment
• Familiarity with threat intelligence and exploit landscape analysis
• Prior work in security consulting, red/blue team operations, or SOC environments
